In April 1997 our Putaruru branch clinic was opened to provide large animal retail services to those farms north of Tokoroa, as well as part time in-house veterinary care. The clinic is now located on the main road, opposite the Z service station. Our friendly face at reception is Lorna Hutchinson. Dr Rebecca Fone BVSc currently travels to the clinic on Tuesdays and Thursdays for companion animal consulting and routine surgeries. Any animals needing more extensive care may be brought down to the main clinic in Tokoroa.

Labour weekend 2008 was the opening of the Whakamaru branch clinic, a retail clinic aimed at our Whakamaru and Mangakino clients, allowing them to make purchases without having to travel through to Tokoroa. Whilst no companion animal consults are currently held at the clinic there is a great range of small animal retail products as well as our extensive range of dairy medications and supplies for our farming clients. Any products not needed urgently can be arranged to be taken down to the clinic so they can be picked up at your leisure.
